LOVED the haiku - although closer to senryu, I believe, but with the kigo. And 5/7/5 no less!

Dear Allen,

Thank you for your kind words on my "Haiku Reflections From A Hospital Bed". These are the first haikus I have ever written so you can see I'm pretty much an anateur in this field. I am vaguely familiar with the senryu but what's a kigo? Thanks again for your comments.
