VIZ releases BLEACH on DVD

VIZ just released the first volume of the BLEACH anime series on DVD. I have not seen this DVD yet, so this is not a review, but I am interested in this release. The anime series premiered September 9th on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim, and follows the adventures of Ichigo, a fifteen-year old student with the ability to see ghosts. The manga series by Tite Kubo has sold over 33.5 million copies in Japan, and the series has also spawned a variety of video games on the Sony PSP, Nintendo DS, Playstation 2, and other platforms.
