Review by Ginger Mayerson There's no business like show business, there's no business I know. Add yaoi and stir. So, Minami gets the lead role in a kid's superhero TV show and is initially repelled and then intrigued by costar, Sawada's homosexuality. Oh, come now, well, okay, for the purposes of plot, I can go with this, but anyone who spends five minutes in show business is pretty inured to gays of both genders. I liked the plot and art of "Yellow," so, once I suspended my disbelief, I liked "Hero Heel." I especially liked the Captain Harlock look they gave Sawada's character. Mmmmm, gay Harlock, mmmmmm. Ah well, a girl can dream, can't she? There's one female character in this story and she's a harmless idiot with a blow-up doll figure, so you can ignore her. Hey, it's yaoi, like Calvin's treehouse: no girlz allowed. Anyway, I liked this story and the good news is that this is only volume one, so there is something to look forward to.
