Review by Linda Yau After a disastrous Christmas three years ago for Dan, where his house is partially burn down and his lover leaves him. He has grown to hate the holiday season. Now that the holiday season is coming around again, it is up to Chris to prove to Dan that there are still things to celebrate about. Just as soon as Dan lets him into his life, house and bed then good tidings would come. What a strange timing to read a Christmas story, in 90+ degree weather no doubt. The story is written partially in narrative format. A Good Thing is a short one night stand deal where the lovers become a couple at the end of the story. Still this story was amusing in a pretty fluffy one-shot way. Some laughs for some scenes, however I can’t think of any other recommendations for this story. It is good to read this type of story, during the time that is closer to the holiday. Perhaps after Thanksgiving, but any other time would feel strange. Expect it to be like one of those instant Christmas cds, released annually. This story is a crowd pleaser meant for one time reading. Quite like a cookie cutter molded piece. Now the question is, would you enjoy a holiday fluff piece? If so this story is for you. Cheers for a happy future holiday.
