Review by Kris

Fujimaru Senda has more on his plate than he needs. He spends his time following his little brother home from cram school (incognito, of course). He's also fighting the advances of the incubus Rei, both at home and at school. Finally, the Occult Research Club is studying him. What more can he handle?

In the second volume of Mister Mistress, Fujimaru is stressed out major. First he has to deal with Rei being his homeroom teacher and the advisor to the Occult Research society. Not only does he have Rei sexually harassing him at every turn; he's struggling with his own emotions towards the demon. He seems to be developing deeper feelings for Rei. But the vibe that Fujimaru seems to be sensing from Rei is that all Fujimaru is good for is food for our handsome incubus. Another problem Fujimaru is faced with, a succubus from Rei's past. It turns out that this succubus knows the reason why Rei is only able to feed on men's desires.

According to mangaupdates.com it claims that Mister Mistress has three volumes total. Of course you get that feeling by the way the story ends that there is more to the story. There are currently only the two volumes. I have been enjoying this series immensely. My only complaint is that the roles are so formulaic. The seme is forceful and the uke protests at every turn. That follows the yaoi formula to a tee. But that aside, it's still a fun series. Fujimaru is so cute and cracks me up with his antics. Rei is drop dead gorgeous and comes up with some creative ways to get what he wants out of Fujimaru. I found this a great follow-up to the first volume. There is a bit more of a story to keep you riveted, but there is enough fluff to make it enjoyable. I find that I like the more comedic stories over the more serious ones, and this series reminds me why.

Deux Press has done a great job with this title. The printing quality is high. The books fit well in your hands and the cover is scored so you won't break the binding trying to read near the center margins. Great job Deux Press, keep up the good work!
