Review by Kris On the island of La Leche de la Luna lives a young boy with a magical backpack. His name is YAM. I guess he gets his name from the fact that his outfit makes him look like a yam, a cute yam I should say. With his friends Marzipan Gato and May and his pet TV they have many fun adventures. From catching bugs to keep in jars, drinking magical potions, and dreaming of a beautiful young lady from a local carnival, YAM and his friends have lots of fun. These comics are wonderfully wordless, endlessly creative, and utterly adorable. For a short collection of comics I found myself immediately enraptured by YAM and his undying curiosity. I was drawn into his adventures from the get-go. I giggled out loud numerous times. You don't have to be a kid to enjoy this collection. Since they are wordless you can have youngsters who are just learning to read check this out. The art is so fun, it feels like you really are tagging along with YAM while he zips through the sky going from adventure to adventure. Pull up a chair, grab a fizzy soda, and a big ol' hunk of bubble gum because you are heading back to your childhood. The fun part of childhood!
