Time Lag

Review by Ginger Mayerson

Okay, let me see if I can explain this plot:

Satoru Tendou is artistic, romantic and suffering from his unrequited, but hardly secret, love for Shirou. Jean Arthur or Montgomery Clift would be great as Satoru. Seiichi Hiroi is sleek, hot and elegant. He's waiting for Satoru to give up on Shirou and fall into his arms. This really wouldn't be a bad Plan B for Satoru if he could see it. So, Minami gets the lead role in a kid's superhero TV show and is initially repelled and then intrigued by costar, Sawada's homosexuality. Oh, come now, well, okay, for the purposes of plot, I can go with this, but anyone who spends five minutes in show business is pretty inured to gays of both genders. [more]
